Roses Candle & Engraving
Diptyque, Sat 7 Feb
For Valentine’s Day, Diptyque has commissioned artist Constantin Riant to create a motif that expresses the language of love in his own distinctive hand. The result is the Roses candle, a splendid bouquet of roses in bloom, exclusively available this February.
Visit Diptyque’s Spitalfields store on Saturday 7th February, when their engraver will be adding a truly tailored touch to gifts purchased on that day.
Live Couples Portraits
Sat 14 Feb
Make it official! We’ve invited portrait artist Jill Tran to create beautiful FREE live portraits of you and the one you love. Anyone goes; your mum, your grandad, your kids or your pets.
She’ll be offering 6 portraits an hour from 11 – 12.30 and 1.30 to 3pm.
All you have to do is get there early and put your name down to bag your portrait. First come first served.
Valentine’s Poetry
Aesop, Sat 14 Feb
What could be more romantic than poetry?
Aesop will have poet Olivia Dodd at her typewriter in Aesop Spitalfields on 14 February from 3.30-5.30pm.
Customers on the day can request a bespoke poem for a paramour—or even an ode to themselves.
Half Term! Kids Eat Free at The Real Greek

If you’re visiting the Market with family this half term, head to The Real Greek to enjoy the flavours of Greece together.

Lunar New Year Celebrations
Lion Dance! Sat 21 Feb, 11am
Join us on Saturday 21st Feb at 11am in our Brushfield Street entrance to enjoy a traditional Lion Dance performance. This traditional Lunar New Year spectacle is thought to bring good luck, prosperity, and ward off evil spirits.
This is the first lion we’ve invited to the market so we hope it behaves!

Our Asian Makers Mini Market will run all weekend featuring some of our favourite makers including @waiwai.sketches,
