Olive Bar was established in 1996 by a couple of friends with a passion for olives and other products from the southern Mediterranean. Having travelled extensively on the Iberian Peninsula, France and Italy, we saw a gap in the UK market for high quality olives, tapenades and other related products.

We select the finest products we can find and import them directly from France, Italy, Greece and Spain as well as Tunisia, Portugal and Morocco. Our olives are soaked for a short time in cold fresh water to remove some of the saltiness that good quality olives tend to have. These olives are then marinated in locally sourced fresh herbs, garlic and finally drizzled with top quality extra virgin olive oil.

Recently, this quality and originality has been rewarded with Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards and we are a member of The Guild of Fine Food. Our numerous original recipes have been tried and tested on our many market stalls and it’s our customers that tell us when we have got it just right!
