There’s a fresh revolution happening in the open kitchen upstairs where you can watch the chefs at work on the menu which spans Latin America. Tuck in to zingy seasonal superfood salads or hearty Brazilian curries. Sink your teeth in to a Blazing Bird; juicy spiced chicken served half or whole, or add some sizzle with the legendary fajitas. In the bar you’ll find tropical punches bottled up ready to share and a return to old school classic cocktails including the signature Caipirinhas made with Las Iguanas’ own Cachaça distilled near Rio by cachaça master Joao Luiz. Keep hunger at bay with a taco tray to share or a selection of Latin tapas.

Drop in throughout the day. You can snap up the tasty early bird offer with lunch dishes from just a fiver before 6.30pm or enjoy some tapas and a cocktail or two at happy hour on the terrace, or ‘Caipirinha Deck’ overlooking the hustle and bustle of the market. And as the sun goes down it’s the perfect place to celebrate. The a la carte menu is available all day and kids are very welcome with their own set meal or smaller portions. There’s plenty of veggie choice and gluten free options too. Look out for weekly live music nights.

Las Iguanas have worked with some of their suppliers for many years, and proudly support native South American businesses, using Brazilian Rainforest Alliance certified coffee, and their cachaça partner, Magnifica, who grow organic sugar cane – mixed only with local spring water during distillation.
