All the fashions showcased will be available to purchase on site – with traders featured that include:
Yull Shoes, who describe their creations as being ‘Style over fashion’ - a break from the current trend-following flow of impracticable and ephemeral shoe brands. Yull’s shoes feature a mix of vibrant colours and playful patterns on classic designs - accompanied by very wearable and timeless shoes that are hard to find in the existing market.
Bugsy Pants – totally original, fun and British - they decided that the world of swim/dancewear needed an injection of fun and diversity so they set about making gorgeous bikini's from their base in Brighton - using 100% bio-degradable packaging, and materials sourced in the UK.
Annie Greenabelle is an ethical women’s clothing brand whose garments are predominantly made of organic and Fair-trade-certified cotton. They combine this with the use of reclaimed and end-of-roll fabrics, which add variety and means.
Old Spitalfields Market’s very own Dolly Dare and Jigsaw are also expected to make an appearance on the catwalk show during the event – injecting their own unique sense of style to the day’s proceedings.
With free admission, shoppers are invited to come along and join in the event where they’ll be able to immerse themselves in the world of fashion. This will include ‘real people’ catwalks and there will also be a Fashion Chat Zone on site, allowing shoppers to show off their new purchases with photos of the most stylish appearing on the market’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The market is open from 10am till 4pm with the catwalk shows taking place between 12:30pm and 2pm.
