Old Spitalfields Market hopes to transform Monday 16 January - dubbed ‘the most miserable day of the year’ or ‘Blue Monday’ - into one where Londoners can laugh their way through lunchtime.
According to psychologists, a combination of broken New Year’s resolutions, financial strains and typically poor weather conspire to make the third Monday of January a truly dismal day. This year it will fall on Monday 16th.
To beat the blues, Old Spitalfields Market is running a free Laughter Workshop between 12.30pm - 2pm from laughter experts behind the Laughter Network.
